Bud and Billy is an original brand created by The Petshop, the leading and largest specialist retailer of pet goods, accessories and supplies in the Middle East. Bud and Billy’s mission is to represent our furry friends fashion in the same way we humans use it ourselves: as a reflection of our personalities, showing the world a glimpse of who we are inside. It’s clear that our pets pick up habits and quirks from us, but their unique personalities also have a profound impact on our lives. So why not honor these traits through their apparel as well?

our proccess

During the diagnostic process, we sought to understand the brand’s value proposition, its audience and local competitors, the personality we would like to portray and how its story would be told. Only then, we moved on to outline the strategic path that would be followed in the stages of positioning and visual identity.

the duo

To establish this unique sense of identity, the brand was named after two main characters. Its identity breaks away from the typical stereotype of cute and delicate, featuring instead strong, bright, and contrasting colors, as well as a variety of print collections. The modern typography plays with the concept of ​​each name having a different appearance and voice.
